Wedding stationery advice
When you select the wording for your wedding invitations, consider what style you'd like. Remember that the wording of your wedding invitation should give your wedding the importance that it deserves and help people understand the momentous occasion that is about to take place when they read your invite. Whichever wording you want, no matter how formal or informal, at Mandalay we can offer services and products to match.
When preparing your guest list, couples that live together and spouses of guests are generally both included on the wedding invites. There is no rule to say that girlfriends and boyfriends have to be invited. However, if you do not want to start a family rift, it can be a good idea to invite them. If you are inviting a guest who is single, it is always a good idea to invite them and a guest, that is, if your budget allows.
People who have never bought or been involved in buying wedding invitations often make the common mistake of either ordering too many or too few. Your guest list should be completed before you place your order as this allows some time to add any forgotten guests. Work out how many guests you have in total and then generally add an extra 10 invitations to your order to allow for any unexpected writing errors.
